VANNA WHITE NEEDS A NEW HOME
This van has been adored for over a decade but now it’s time to share the love.
The body has some cosmetic flaws but the engine and transmission run smooth and strong.
No oil leaks, newer battery, deep cycle battery, shore power, lots of cabinet space.
This particular van is a hybrid between the Winnebago camper and the Weekender. It is the Winnebago extended wheel base so there is 18″ extra length compared to the MV or Weekender.
It has the best of both worlds; there is a Norcold 3 way frig and the full cabinet set including wardrobe. The area where the sink and stove normally are is used as additional storage. A sink and stove could be installed, the venting is already there. I never used the frig but it will include it in the sale. The front seats swivel and the top raises for another bed. The middle row seat has been moved to the rear and set up so it can be removed if you want more cargo room. The seat can be reclined totally flat to be modified into a bed or flat for hauling. The transmission was replaced 10 years ago and runs great. The van hums along the highway at 85mph and gets about 20 mpg. AC blows cold. The ignition coil was replaced this year, and the normal maintenance has been performed regularly. Oil changes have been done every 3000 miles and I have most of the maintenance records for the work performed while I owned it.
There is a deep cycle battery in the rear that powers a fantastic vent fan and an interior outlet. There is hook up for shore power (never used) and vents for adding the propane system. The stereo has been upgraded (cd, sirius) along with external amps and additional speakers. The floor has a removable rubber mat and the bumpers were Rhino plastered. There are Thule roof rack supports and a Curt 2″ tow hitch. The roof top is cracked and covered with white duck tape, there is ripped screen and small hole in the canvas top, there are some small dents and scratches but other than that it is in good shape. The tires are cargo rated but will need to be replaced soon. I priced it at $12,500 firm with these issues in mind. The top can be replaced and the dents and scratches don’t impede its operation. I purchased a truck so I have to sell it. I believe this van has many years and more miles of reliable life left.
