1995 PETROL VW Westfalia T4 Eurovan Weekender SYNCRO 4×4, 5 speed manual shift, seats 6. A VW Syncro Weekender is the rarest bird… maybe this is your dream ?!
This top condition VW factory four-wheel-drive camper van runs, drives, performs & looks amazing.
223,578 original kilometers (138,000 miles)
Left-hand drive German model with 5 speed & 4 wheel drive factory Syncro option.
*Note: older Vanagon body style syncros sell $40-130,000 & the Eurovan model is larger 2.5L engine with the upgraded 4×4 syncro technology, making it reliable with great fuel economy at 30 mpg.
Syncro Eurovan Westfalia was never sold/available in the USA or Canada, with only 1500 of the previous Vanagon body style sold Canada or USA from 1986-1991. These machines keep their value!
There is one very minor accident history – just barely clipped a deer which created a dent behind fog lamp on front bumper – which was fixed, nor is there any rust. This is a very clean, non-smoker, well cared for vehicle. Upholstery has no tears and is in excellent condition. Body is in great condition.
Maintenance records kept since taking ownership in October 2015, through to current.
Not interested in trades and no lowballs please. I’m not in a rush to sell and will wait to get the needed price. Serious inquiries only.
I hate to part with my dream van and the waves and looks I get in this beauty but I made a deal with my husband that if we sold everything to go traveling full-time, I would agree to increase the square footage of our camping mobile. We are converting a Skoolie and unfortunately the budget doesn’t allow for us to have both 🙁
We have enjoyed camping in this Westfalia full-time for 5 months each winter. It has toured across the gulf to Florida and back twice, to mainland Mexico, and our last trip was to Baja in 2019/2020. This Westy was christened before us as Rufus, and although we tried on a few names for size, Rufus was the best choice in the end. We refer to him as Rebel Rufus!
